After a presentation of each book, this article wishes to compare their assessments on two points: the religious evolution of the emperor and his religious policy vis-à-vis the Gentiles.
Constantin, qui semblait un peu oublié de la recherche historique française, vient de faire l'objet de cinq livres en quelques années. Après une présentation de chacun, l'article voudrait comparer leurs appréciations sur deux points: l'évolution religieuse de l'empereur, et sa politique religieuse vis-à-vis des païens.
