| Σύνοψη: | El propósito de este estudio es presentar una investigación del pensamiento teológico-político de Suárez, rescatando un texto casi desconocido del autor: Conselhos e pareceres, que forma parte de sus escritos de fi losofía jurídica, moral y política. En esta línea surgen argumentos teóricos, pragmáticos y evidencias que demuestran el compromiso de la vida intelectual del teólogo, como consejero docto inserto en el contexto ideológico de su época y en este caso en un evento histórico complejo. Para este propósito, me apoyo inicialmente en una premisa central: y es que la noción de teoría política está profundamente enraizada, tanto en las prácticas como en las ideas, en la cultura histórica, que en este punto relaciona la dimensión teológica y jurídica del autor. La discusión conducirá al complejo mundo de la política eclesiástica, según consta en los documentos y la correspondencia que conforma la obra miscelánea sobre consejos y pareceres. The purpose of this paper is to present a research on Suárez’s theological - political thought, to rescue an almost unknown text of the author: Conselhos and pareceres. I shall seek to integrate it into his writings on juridical, moral and political philosophy. Thus, I will offer theoretical and pragmatic arguments as evidences to prove the commitment of the intellectual life of the theologian, as learned counselor, inserted in the ideological and political context of his time: with a single case as an example of a historically complex event. For such purpose, I rely initially on a central premise, namely, that the notion of political theory is deeply rooted, both in the practices and the ideas within the historical culture. In this matter, relates the theological and juridical dimension of the author. The discussion will drive to the complex world of the ecclesiastic politics, as it consists in the documents and letters that shaped the miscellaneous work on Conselhos and pareceres. |
