| Riepilogo: | Das Motiv der Geistausgießung in Joel 3 wird auf seine Funktion im Joelbuch hin untersucht. Dabei kann gezeigt werden, dass die verschiedenen Motive des literarisch einheitlichen Abschnitts nur lose mit dem restlichen Joelbuch verbunden sind, in das Joel 3 spät eingefügt wurde, und aus Sach 12,9-13,9 entlehnt sind. Der Verfasser von Joel 3 nimmt gerade die Rahmenthemen aus Sach 12f. – die Geistausgießung (12,10) und das Anrufen des Namens Jhwhs (13,9) – auf, universalisiert ihren Horizont und definiert das Anrufen des Namens Jhwhs nicht mehr als Konsequenz der göttlichen Rettung, sondern als deren Voraussetzung. Dies führt zu einer Stärkung der menschlichen Autonomie im Joelbuch – und dem entstehenden Zwölfprophetenbuch als Ganzem – und zugleich zu einer Veränderung der Chro-nologie des dort angekündigten Tages Jhwhs. The article investigates the outpouring of the Spirit of God as described in Joel 3 regarding its function in the Book of Joel and argues, that Joel 3, a secondary addition to the Book of Joel, is a coherent text and that the individual motives of this text, which are only loosely linked to Joel 1-2 and 4, depend on Zech 12:9-13:9. The author of Joel 3 uses the framing themes of Zech 12f. – the outpouring of the Spirit (12:10) and the calling of the name of Yhwh (13:9). But he universalizes their scope and he defines the calling of the name as a condition not as a consequence of divine salvation thus emphasizing human autonomy. On this basis, within the Book of Joel, Joel 3 modifies the book’s former intention and changes the chronology of the Day of Yhwh. |
