AB The author examines whether the Apostle Paul instructs women to remain silent in congregational worship and during prophesying through an exegesis of the verses 34-35 of Paul's 1 Corinthians 14. From it the author interprets that the verses are Paul's general instructions on proper congregational worship and are not aimed at all women, but specifically towards wives, restricting them from publicly judging their husbands' prophecies.
