| Summary: | This article analyses in three steps the Apostolic Exhortation Amoris laetitia from the theological point of view. In the first one, a detailed historical etiology of the Document is carried out, starting from the catechesis of John Paul II. In the second one, using chapter VIII as a «compass», it is verified the continuity of the Apostolic Exhortation with the whole traditio ecclesiae. Finally, the Author rereads Amoris laetitia through the original hermeneutic, provided by Misericordia et misera, which restores the right balance between justice and compassion in the pastoral action of the Church. |
