| Summary: | Mit seinem Buch „Nach der Endlichkeit" hat der französische Philosoph Quentin Meillassoux die Denkbewegung des „Spekulativen Realismus" angestoßen. Dieser Beitrag stellt zunächst zentrale Argumentationsfiguren von Meillassoux vor. Dabei geht es nicht um die philosophische Fachdebatte einzelner Varianten von Realismus, Idealismus oder Naturalismus. Was hier interessiert, ist quasi eine zeitdiagnostische Vermutung: Dass sich nämlich an dieser Veröffentlichung eine signifikante Kulturveränderung des Denkens zeigt, welche auch die Möglichkeitsräume christlicher Praktiken und deren Theologie betrifft. Insofern ist dieser Text aber riskant, weil er sich auf einen Diskurs bezieht, der noch überhaupt nicht fertig gedacht ist und sich als Sackgasse erweisen kann. In drei abschließenden kleinen Ausblicken wird deshalb vorsichtig getestet, was sich praktisch-theologisch verändern könnte, wenn man sich von Meillassoux irritieren lässt. With his book After Finitude, the French philosopher Quentin Meillassoux established the movement of thought called "speculative realism". This article first presents main figures of argumentation from this book. Here it is not concerned with the specialized philosophical debate on particular versions of realism, idealism or naturalism. The point of interest is, in effect, a conjecture relating to a diagnosis of the times, namely that, with this publication, a significant change of thinking regarding culture appears which also affects the realms of possibility of Christian practices and their theology. In this respect, however, the text is risky because it refers to a discourse which has not yet been thought out to the end at all and which can prove to be a dead end. In three brief closing remarks concerning the future, the author therefore carefully tests what could change at a practical-theological level if one lets himself or herself be irritated by Meillassoux. |
