Pakistan and Islam: Its ethnicity and ideology
The argument of this paper is that the Pakistan movement was a movement of Muslims rather than of Islam: a movement in which diverse Muslim ethnic groups from different regions, representing different social strata and interests, were allied in pursuit of quite material objectives. (DÜI-Sdt)
