In the early 2000s, Thomas Romer draws attention to the originality of the book of Numbers in the Torah: while easily literary analysis allows highlighting the unity and independence of all other books of the torah, structure and consistency of the book of Numbers appear problematic and are not subject to any unanimous. The apparent disorder of the book of Numbers is deliberate, allowing coexisting within the Torah two consistent sets -the Tritoteuque and Deuteronomy.
