This account of the sufferings of the church in Northern Nigeria is by Ibrahim Bitrus, the Nigerian Theologian in Residence at theMinneapolis Area Synod. He received a PhD in systematic theology from Luther Seminary, and prior to this, he was a lecturer at Bronnum Lutheran Seminary in Yola, Nigeria.
