It should be expressed that the Rechabites in Jerusalem should keep all the commandments of their ancestor Jonadab. | ||

Nach dem Septuaginta-Vorlagetext ist das judäische Land gemeint, nach dem masoretischen Text aber Jerusalem. Während der Tradierung des längeren Jeremiatextes wurde hyl[ (= Septuaginta-Vorlage) durch ~v ersetzt. Es soll wahrscheinlich ausgedrückt werden, dass die Rechabiter auch in Jerusalem alle Gebote ihres Ahnherrn Jonadab einhalten sollten. | ||
