Daher sei es besser, in diesem Vers Jael und nicht ihr Werkzeug als Subjekt zu verstehen.
AB The article argues, citing anatomical data, that contrary to the conventional construal of Judg 4:21aβ-γ it would be physically impossible for Jael’s tent stake to pin Sisera to the ground after piercing his temple. It is consequently preferable to read the clause as referring to Jael rather than to her weapon.
