| Riepilogo: | Beitrag leistet eine konsequente Relektüre von Karl Marx vom Zeitalter des Anthropozäns her. Zentrale Einsichten seiner Analyse des kapitalistischen Verwertungsprozess erweisen sich dabei als aktueller denn je. Allerdings stellen Marxens Produktivismus und sein unkritisches Verhältnis zum Industrialisierungsprozess auch deutliche zeitbedingte Grenzen seines Denkens dar. Angesichts der begrenzten Tragfähigkeit der Ökosysteme, die Marx zu seiner Zeit nur im Ansatz erkennen konnte, steht nicht nur der Kapitalismus mit seinem inhärenten Wachstumszwang, sondern unser Typ von Industriegesellschaft insgesamt zur Disposition. Eine Relektüre in diesem Sinne betrifft das Marx'sche Denken in all seinen Facetten, nicht zuletzt auch seine Religionskritik. This article is a review of Karl Marx's work for the Anthropocene. Central insights of his analysis of the capitalist exploitation process have proven to be more topical than ever. However, Marxen's productivism and his uncritical relationship to the industrialization process also represent time limits to his thinking. In view of the limited viability of ecosystems, which Marx could only recognize at the beginning of his time, not only capitalism, with its inherent need for growth, but our type of industrial society as a whole is at issue. A release in this sense concerns Marx'sche thinking in all its facets, not least its criticism of religion. |
