The third came from the pen of William Roye, one of two apostate Friars from Greenwich, who, like Tyndale, left England for the Continent in the mid 1520's. Having served as Tyndale's assistant in the preparation of the New Testament for the press, Roye made his way to Strassburg, leaving Tyndale at Worms. There had apparently been some friction between them. | ||
