This study builds on Theo A. W. van der Louw's work on LXX "transformations," that is, changes between the source and target languages made to better represent both the content and the form essential to the message of the source text. Recognizing the LXX translators' ability to represent the Hebrew wordplays in Pss 90-106, often by using transformations, contributes to a more nuanced understanding of the relationship between the LXX, its Vorlage, and the MT.
