Sa proposition s'appuie sur une éthique de la sobriété, enracinée dans les ressources de la tradition et de la spiritualité chrétiennes. L'encyclique invite à redécouvrir une vertu un peu oubliée aujourd'hui, et à la vivre au plan personnel et au plan social. Elle propose également la sobriété comme principe d'organisation économique et social, pour inventer un autre modèle de croissance, plus juste et plus soutenable. La lecture de Laudato si' nous conduit à proposer de formuler la sobriété parmi les principes permanents de la doctrine sociale., In the face of a grave and urgent ecological crisis, in the encyclical Laudato si' Pope Francis calls for a genuine cultural revolution. He urges an ecological conversion that implies a radical rethinking of our lifestyles. His proposal is based on an ethic of sobriety rooted in the theological resources and spirituality of the Christian tradition. The encyclical invites us to rediscover a virtue that is somewhat forgotten today and to live it out on a personal and social level. Laudato si' also proposes sobriety as a principle of economic and social organisation, as a means of developing a fairer and more sustainable model of growth. Our reading of Laudato si' leads us to propose the concept of sobriety as one of the permanent principles of Catholic social doctrine. | ||
