Vladimir Ern et Nicolas Berdiaev, Vassily Kandinsky, et Serge Boulgakov, des intellectuels passés par le marxisme et le nietzschéisme avant de retrouver la foi chrétienne, furent les principaux protagonistes de cette prise de conscience de la fin de la Modernité et de l'avènement d'un « nouveau Moyen-Âge ». Leur influence sur la pensée occidentale fut considérable., This article recounts the debates that preoccupied Russian intelligentsia during World War I, then presents one of the main results of the renewal of post-modern Christian Orthodox thinking, that is, the rediscovery of the icon and the invention of concrete art. Vladimir Ern and Nicolas Berdiaev, Vassily Kandinsky, and Serge Boulgakov, intellectuals who took up Marxism and Nietzscheism before coming back to Christian faith were the main protagonists of this new awareness of the end of Modernity and the arrival of the new Middle Ages. Their influence on Western thought was far-reaching. | ||
