RT Article T1 Textprobleme im Hippolytos des Euripides JF Wiener Studien VO 128 SP 27 OP 36 A1 Schwabl, Hans 1924-2016 LA German PB Österreichischen Akademie d. Wissenschaften YR 2015 UL https://ixtheo.de/Record/1577425235 AB The author of this article intends to demonstrate the existence of a genuine men solitarium at the beginning of the prologue (line 1) and to explain its function. He defends the transmitted text of line 277 (thanein) and line 953 (sitois) as genuine. Other passages which seem to be in need of emendation are discussed. Among the proposed solutions, there are two, which seem to have every chance to be accepted (line 715 protrapeis' egō instead of protrepus' egō and line 1014 eikos instead of ei mē).
