Description
Summary:When studying pulchrum in Thomas Aquinas from a holistic perspective, one can see that this communissima passes throught all levels of creation, from the physical world, passing through the human body as a microcosm, to those human activities more essential that the tradition has been associated with the active and contemplative life. In this sense, the beauty of creation begins the contemplation and invites to beautify the human interiority through further improvement, that transcending particular effort, entrusted to grace the fullness itself. This paper, then, want to show from the thomistic perspective this via pulchri, focusing particularly on the virtues that correspond to these two lives.
