This paper focuses on the aesthetic and theological meanings of the logo of the Year of Mercy, made by Rupnik under the aspect of an unconventional image of Christ the Good Shepherd, but which has to, in point of fact, with an «anastasis», that has clear precedents in the work of the Slovenian Jesuit artist. | ||

Aunque en sus inicios parte de un expresionismo violento, tras una conversión interior, logra una síntesis simbólica del arte paleocristiano y bizantino con el de las vanguardias. Esta investigación se centra en las connotaciones estéticas y teológicas que pueden extraerse de un análisis del logo del Año de la Misericordia, obra realizada por Rupnik bajo el aspecto de una curiosa imagen de Cristo Buen Pastor, pero que en realidad se trata de una «anástasis», con claros precedentes en la obra del artista jesuita de origen esloveno. | ||
