Vielmehr wurde das Buch Micha durch Redaktoren einerseits der Prophetie Jesajas und andererseits der Prophetie von Hosea und Amos angenähert. Da diese Berührungen unauflöslich miteinander verbunden sind und einen beträchtlichen Teil des Buches ausmachen, ist anzunehmen, dass es ein unabhängiges Buch Micha nie gab. Es wurde vielmehr als Fortsetzung der Prophetie von Hosea und Amos sowie als Repräsentant zentraler Inhalte der Botschaft Jesajas im Zwölfprophetenbuch verfasst. 
520 |a The question why the Book of Micah has many contacts with the Book of Isaiah cannot be explained biographically by stating Micah was a contemporary of Isaiah or a member of his prophetic school. Instead, the Book of Micah was approximated by redactors to the prophecy of Isaiah on the one hand and to the prophecies of Hosea and Amos on the other hand. Since these contacts are inextricably linked with each other and constitute a considerable part of the book, it can be assumed that there was never an independent Book of Micah. It was rather composed as a continuation of the prophecies of Hosea and Amos and as the representative of the central contents of Isaiah’s message in the Book of the Twelve. 
520 |a La question pourquoi le livre de Michée présente beaucoup de correspondances avec le livre d’Isaïe ne peut pas être expliquée par l’assomption que Michée ait été un contemporain d’Isaïe ou un membre de son école prophétique. Plutôt le livre de Michée fut rapproché par des rédacteurs de la prophétie d’Isaïe d’un côté et de la prophétie d’Osée et Amos de l’autre côté. Puisque ces correspondances sont indissolublement reliées les unes avec les autres, et puisqu’elles constituent une partie considérable du livre, on peut assumer qu’il n’existait jamais un livre indépendent de Michée. Il fut plutôt composé comme la continuation de la prophétie d’Osée et Amos et comme représentant des sujets centrales du message d’Isaïe dans le Livre des Douze.
