| Zusammenfassung: | Le texte du Récit du pèlerin de St Ignace de Loyola, se situant au croisement du pèlerinage médiéval et de la modernité, présente trois instances distinctes : la démarche ascétique, la recherche didentité et la quête mystique. L'analyse de l''usage du pèlerinage par Ignace dans la Compagnie de Jésus naissante montre cependant que le pèlerinage y touche principalement les dimensions ascétique et identitaire, oblitérant ainsi le sommet proprement mystique du cheminement d'Ignace qui ouvrait à un pèlerinage intérieur sans limite. The text of the Autobiography of St. Ignatius of Loyola, situated at the crossroads of the medieval pilgrimage and modernity, comprehends three distinct instances of pilgrimages: the ascetical process, the search for identity, and the mystical quest. An analysis of Ignatius use of pilgrimages in the nascent Society of Jesus reveals, however, that they mainly touched upon the dimensions of asceticism and identity, thus obliterating the genuinely mystical summit of Ignatius journey, which was ushering into an infinite inner pilgrimage. |
