总结:This article explores the phenomenon of mood changes due to the aging process. It employs the fictional characters of Happy and Grumpy, two of the seven dwarfs in the animated film Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs (Disney ), to illustrate these changes and their effects on one's personality. On the basis of the characterization of Happy and Grumpy in the authorized novel (Weyn ) the article concludes that these two temperaments are compatible and that therefore a person who has had a happy temperament in the earlier stages of life should be able to accommodate a disposition toward grumpiness in later stages of life.
