Im Vergleich mit der Deutschen Seelsorgestudie kann das spezifische Profil sowohl der Seelsorgestudie als auch der evangelischen Studien zum Pfarrberuf deutlicher werden. In diesem Beitrag werden die Konzepte der verschiedenen Studien sowie einige wesentliche Ergebnisse miteinander verglichen. Auf evangelischer Seite standen lange Zeit die externen Belastungsfaktoren im Mittelpunkt der Untersuchungen, während die Beschäftigung mit internen Stressoren und Ressourcen unter salutogenetischen Gesichtspunkten erst in den letzten Jahren eine zunehmend wichtige Rolle spielt. Die Deutsche Seelsorgestudie verbindet diese beiden Perspektiven, arbeitet mit bewährten und vergleichbaren Standardinstrumenten und bietet den Vergleich verschiedener Berufsgruppen.Trotz der verschiedenen Konzepte und der Unterschiede bei den Berufsprofilen in den beiden Kirchen kommen die Studien zu teilweise parallelen Ergebnissen. Das spricht für durchaus vergleichbare Erfahrungen im aktuellen Strukturwandel der Kirchen. | ||
| 520 | |a In the last 15 years there has been a boom of studies on the profession of pastors in German Protestant Churches. Comparing the Deutsche Seelsorgestudie (Pastoral Ministry Study) with these studies helps to see the profile of each of these studies more clearly. The aim of this contribution is to provide a short comparison of the designs and of the main results. In the studies on the Protestant pastors the main emphasis was put on external load factors, but in the last years the question for internal stressors and resources has got more relevant, also under the sign of salutogenesis. The Deutsche Seelsorgestudie combines these approaches, uses proved and comparable standard instrumentsand provides a useful comparison of the various professional groups in the Catholic Pastoral Ministry. Despite the different designs of these studies and the partly different profiles of the ministry staff in the Catholic and the Protestant Church there are some similar results. This is a hint that the members of the ministry staff in both Churches are making more or less the same experiences in the face of the current structural changes. | ||
