It discusses the promotion of positive psychology by professor Martin Seligman, historian René Girard's theory of mimetic desire and scapegoating, and the religious-secular distinction between the works of Girard and Seligman. It is opined that the adoption of Seligman's positive psychology would benefit the churches.
