Σύνοψη:The author reflects on a Biblical passage from the Book of Luke which focuses on Jesus Christ's lament over Jerusalem. The context into which the lament of Jesus for Jerusalem must be placed is explained by the author. For the author, Jesus appears to be considering the sacred role of Judaism and what has gone wrong. According to the author, when Jesus speaks His lament for Jerusalem, it is because He knows they have rejected Him and all the representational elements of His role.
