Description
Summary:In his time as a student, Paul Tillich joined the Wingolf student fraternity. Decades later, he repeatedly and emphatically points out that these years had shaped him personally and intellectually. This paper explores the basis for this retrospective. Here are analyzed the discussions which were held within the individual Wingolf society houses where Tillich was involved. In the Appendix two previously unknown speeches are reproduced which Tillich gave during his time in the Wingolf society.
