A theory advanced by so eminent a scholar is certainly worthy of serious consideration, especially since he believes that its implications are many and important. He does not himself state or discuss these implications, because he thinks that the correctness of his thesis must first be tested by others. The present paper offers such a testing of Dr. WRIGHT's interesting and stimulating theory. | ||
