The research conducted in Tübingen in 1992 and 1993 attempts to fill this gap. As hypothesis it is assumed that images of religion exist which are not related with experience and knowledge, but rather produced by media. The degree of the internal consistency of these images is high. The results prove that the stereotype regarding Islam is negative, whereas the stereotype regarding Buddhism is positive. | ||
