Das zweite Kapitel untersucht die Normen des CIC/1917 im Vergleich zu den Vorschriften des CIC/1983 und kommentiert letztere ausführlich. Das dritte und letzte Kapitel befasst sich eingehend mit der Situation in Kanada. Der Verfasser kommt zu dem Schluss, dass die Visitation ein höchst wirksames Instrumentarium darstellt, gegenwärtige Probleme zu benennen und zukünftige zu vermeiden.
