总结:"The Apostolos is a collection of manuscripts containing a system of biblical readings for public worship. For Byzantines it was the primary form in which the Acts and Epistles were known as Scripture. Twentieth century research on the Apostolos was often centred on the search for a 'lectionary text' and was almost abandoned for fifty years. For the first time, this volume brings together work on the biblical and liturgical contents of the Apostolos. Digital methods are used to explore its textual traditions, showing how it is a uniquely Byzantine synthesis rather than simply a means to recovering a particular form of text. By a renewed focus on the documents, this study sheds light on the Apostolos in its scribal, monastic, liturgical and theological context"--
