Elena Giannarelli (Associate Professor Department of Arts and Philosophy University of Firenze )graduated in Classical Letters in 1974 at the Faculty of Arts and Philosophy at the University of Florence, discussing with Prof. Antonio La Penna a thesis titled Childhood in Biography and Ancient Christian Autobiographyand bringing the vote of 110/110 and praise. He worked as a researcher at the Scuola Normale Superiore di Pisa from 1974 to 1983, working with La Penna himself, with Arnaldo Momigliano and Guido Martellotti.
