Her research interests include the religious philosophy of Paul Ricoeur, Edith Stein, and John Henry Newman, the Carmelite textual tradition, Catholic-Jewish dialogue, and ethical responses to religious diversity and religious pluralism. She has published essays on Ricoeur, Stein, and Newman. She lives in Iowa City, Iowa
