| 678 | |b Christof Royer is a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Yehuda Elkana Center for Higher Education, where he conducts research on the idea(l) of open society, organises academic events, engages in conversations with major publishers and academic centres that have demonstrated interest in the concept of open society, and seeks to establish synergies between partners of the Open Society University Network (OSUN). He holds a PhD from the University of St Andrews (UK), is an international political theorist whose research straddles the disciplines of International Relations, Political Theory and International Law. His research is, thus, interdisciplinary in nature, and he seeks to address complex questions surrounding mass atrocities, global justice, globalisation, human rights, political violence, contemporary practices of surveillance and democratic struggles and contestations. Prior to joining CEU, Christof was a Visiting Assistant Professor at the University of Hong Kong, taught surveillance studies at the University of Dundee, and was a tutor at the University of St Andrews. | ||
