He is a Salzburg Global Seminar Fellow (Biography as Mirror of Society, 2006) and has published extensively on social theory, critical ethnography, and nativist sociology. His 'Rice-Based History of Environmental Discourse in the Philippines, 1946-2005” was published in 2012. He obtained his Ph.D. (Environmental Science) from the University of the Philippines, Los Banos, Philippines and currently teaching under/graduate theory and sociology courses at the Behavioral Sciences Department, De La Salle University. | ||
